It also takes the most advantage if it's theme out of all these big Animes. And the character in their adult/teenage lives seem like natural evolutions of their backstory selves. Just a fuckton more developed and rich and subtle. One Piece tho, One Piece is way way way way, waywayway better. Even trough the others weren't that deep with rare exceptions (Shikamaru after the last real arc of Season 1, a little bit of Neji, I guess Gaara but his resolution was stupid). I live in Hawaii, and we get lots of Japanese tourists here, and you know what characters they put on the trolleys to attract them? ONE PIECE CHARACTERS. One Piece even broke records for the most sold comics by a single author or some shit. And I am a huge fan of DBZ and Naruto, but that's just objectively the truth. DBZ and Naruto are most popular overseas, but in Japan neither of them even come close to One Piece's popularity. The manga volumes are at the front of every bookstore (which actually still exist in Japan). They converted Tokyo Tower into a One Piece theme park. And it's on like LITERALLY 20 or 30 different channels every sunday morning in the same exact time slot. Has anyone been there? There is literally One Piece stuff EVERYWHERE.
