An active convecting AP lava lake, identical in composition to the older lavas, existed from 1972 until late 1984. Erebus (3794 m) has erupted mainly anorthoclase phonolite (AP) and lesser trachyte, kaersutite phonolite and intermediate differentiates. The first post of that thread also contains a link for EitB's changelog PDF, so you can see in advance what EitB has changed from the base game.Over the last 1 m.y. If you haven't tried EitB yet & would care to give it a look, the link (to the link) for Sareln's latest release is found here. Almost nothing that wasn't found somewhere in the base game.Īlthough my opinion is somewhat biased (I have contributed a number of suggestions to the modmod), I would say that so far the result has been a great success Although FFH still isn't really perfect with EitB, it is now much more viable for competitive events, without losing any of the character which made it enjoyable to begin with. So there are no new civilizations, no new units or techs, no new buildings or traits, etc. At the same time, a major guiding principle of EitB has been to avoid as much as possible adding any brand new content to the game. As the name suggests, the goal of the mod project has been to balance the gameplay of FFH, mainly for MP but for SP as well, so that more of the cool content of base FFH is usable, and so that there are no longer any universally correct strategies. EitB is a little different from other FFH modmods.

To the best of my knowledge, it's the largest FFH MP group on the internet. Although I almost never post on Civfanatics any more, I occasionally check out this forum, and I've noticed people asking about balance fixes to base FFH and whether there is any interest in multiplayer play.Īt the Realms Beyond civilization community, we've had a vibrant Fall From Heaven MP community going for a few years now, with almost two dozen reported FFH PBEM games.
